All Aboard is an independant non-profit organisation that works with communities across Aotearoa to build trust, skills and shared understanding, helping to shape transport systems that make everyday travel safer, more affordable, and fair for everyone — now and into the future.
Why Transport?
Our transport system supports our everyday lives, but how it is designed affects the wellbeing of people and our environment.
20th century planners designed our transport system around cars, making it less attractive to move in other ways like walking, cycling, or catching a bus or train. As car use came to dominate, the transport system became a major source of pollution and harm to people’s health.
But it doesn’t have to be this way. By making smarter use of the roads and streets we already have, we can build a better transport system.

The All Aboard Action Alliance brings together diverse groups with a shared vision of improving the wellbeing of people and the environment by improving our transport system.
By exchanging knowledge, sharing initiatives and supporting each other’s mahi, the Action Alliance enables All Aboard, our partners, and the communities we work with to amplify their effectiveness and impact.
