Why join?
Sustainable partnership instead of temporary coalitions
Amplify our shared messaging
Administrative support and coordination from All Aboard’s Board of Advisors & Executive Director
Share knowledge and expertise - upskilling and workshops
Increase reach and influence - signing off as action alliance
Enhance lobbying and advocacy
Shared workload in urgent situations and continued action
Mobilised community with operational efficiency
Ready to take action!
Becoming a member of the Action Alliance
Members will be added to a discussion platform to enable ideas to be shared. Each member will have one Liaison in communication with All Aboard’s Action Alliance Advisor - Pippa Coom.
We will be ready to take action when needed and continue our advocacy by sharing the workload in urgent situations (e.g. GPS, LTP, RLTP, Speed Management, Fast-Track Approvals Bill, etc.)
Time commitment:
Members participate in the group discussion as often or little as they please. All Aboard will be monitoring the discussion platform and contacting the members’ Liaison when action is needed. We want our community to optimise their resources, and feel supported.
Regulations: All Aboard Action Alliance Charter.
The Action Alliance is for members all over Aotearoa, New Zealand.
All Aboard TDT coordinates the collective action of the Action Alliance by:
1. Uniting the passionate, caring and curious members of Aotearoa contributing to the transport decarbonisation movement.
3. Overseeing administrative tasks of the Action Alliance, specifically drafting letters to local and national government, leading meetings and helping our members stay informed.
2. Amplifying our shared messages.
4. Maintaining data on our reach – the higher number of people we reach in our Alliance, the louder and stronger we are in our demands to reduce the effects of the climate crisis.
